Cole was an inspirational spirit with a love of being heard. He was one of a kind. Cole was diagnosed with severe asthma when he was only one year old. He had just set out on his own to live the life of his dreams when his life was cut short in early January of 2024. He went to the pharmacy to get his prescription he had been on for years, only to be told that his insurance no longer covered it with no generic substitutes. His only option was to pay for his original prescription at an astronomical out-of-pocket cost that he couldn't afford. Days later, he suffered a severe asthma attack which led him to care in the ICU...where he would never leave. Cole's passing was completely preventable and due only to the greed of PBMs. Let Cole's story be heard. We need to fight this fight for him and every other American suffering through these injustices every day.
